About me

I am Silvia, Founder of The Mind Bliss Coaching.

I live in Geneva with my family: my supportive husband, three kids and a fluffy cat. I love to travel, with friends and family, spend time in nature, watch movies and learn new stuff all the time. I feel very privileged to be able to spend time with my kids every day of my life.

After having lived half of my life as an extrovert, I became an introverted extrovert in my late 30s.

I am a PCI Certified Parent Coach®, with more than 400 hours of one-on-one coaching, and am trained to teach mindfulness techniques to kids and adults. I have attended the essential trainings to teach the MBSR program, TTP1, with the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University.

After 15 years working in the field of international aid and development, and after becoming a mother for the third time, I have decided to devote my energies to supporting parents in reconnecting with their strengths and values, to help them raise their children with presence, awareness and ease.

I have started a personal mindfulness practice in January 2015, and having experienced myself the transformative power of mindfulness, I decided to train to teach mindfulness to kids and adults, to bring to others an effective tool for managing stressful, fast-paced and distracted lives. I am currently studying transactional analysis, counseling path, that will enable me to support parents with larger range of tools.

I moved back to Geneva, Switzerland, in August 2016 after four years in Bangkok, Thailand, and I am currently working with people from different countries, via Skype, FaceTime and in person. I design, run and facilitate mindfulness training, workshops, individual and group coaching sessions.

I am facilitating The way to Mindful Parenting course, which is not a parenting course as such but rather a journey to help parents reconnect with their wisdom, awareness and presence, learn mindfulness techniques and how to navigate those difficult times we all experience in our lives and with our families.

I am currently running Mindfulness for children activities in schools, and offering mindfulness one-on-one sessions to kids and adults. My clients are schools, organisations and individuals, namely the Early Learning Centre international school in Bangkok, the International School of Geneva, the Montessori Rive Gauche school, JP Morgan, Cargill.

I am very passionate about helping other people to rediscover how strong, kind, determined and loving they are and can be – and how beautiful life is if we take it moment by moment.

As a mindfulness practitioner, I follow the UK Good Practice Guidelines for teaching mindfulness and I am committed to daily practice, regular retreats and ongoing personal and professional development.
